‘Newport News’ is an award-winning magazine, produced for the community of Newport in Essex, England. It is published twice a year and has a circulation of 1,800, being distributed FREE to every household in Newport, as well as being sold in outlets in the surrounding areas and Saffron Walden.

‘Newport News’ was first published in 1974 and has gone from strength-to-strength over the last 50 years. It is now a glossy magazine with approximately 120 pages, and is produced by a large team of volunteers.

We welcome contributions on Newport’s past, present or future, so please send us your news, articles, ideas, letters, wedding & baby pictures, or anything else that you think will be of interest to our community. It also contains a wealth of information about our local area.
